The TBS Group presence in the UK is in the form of TBS GB Telematic & Biomedical Services Ltd.

TBS GB Telematic & Biomedical Services Ltd. was formed as a result of the acquisition of the Clinical Services division of GE Healthcare in Europe by TBS Group in 2004. TBS Group is now the largest multivendor service provider in Europe in the fields of biomedical, endoscopy, telemedicine and healthcare related IT technologies.

TBS GB is an accredited organization and carries certification to UNI EN ISO 13485:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 for the maintenance of endoscopy and biomedical devices.

TBS Group was founded  in research environment in the late 1980s as an advanced clinical engineering service provider. Now, with in excess of 2,300 highly qualified and competent personnel in 13 countries, TBS group is not only an alternative, but instead the solution to the complex needs of healthcare providers.

Our history in the UK is based on over 20 years' experience of independent service in the endoscopy field and over 10 years in biomedical engineering. We also offer hospital information systems and remote patient monitoring (telelemedicine) services.

Contracts are held for the maintenance of electro-biomedical equipment at over 70 sites around the UK. In addition, we hold contracts with over 100 hospitals, both NHS and private for the maintenance of endoscopy equipment. Our dedicated endoscopy repair facility employing 19 repair technicians is based at our UK headquarters in Southend-on-Sea.  

TBS GB's head office is in Southend-on-Sea and covers an area of 6500sqft. Nationally, we employ over 80 staff comprising of 20 endoscopy technicians and 40 biomedical engineers, with the remaining being management and support staff.
